BIOGRAPHIC AND AUTOBIOGRAPHIC STUDIES IN THE ARTS
From the selection of biographies, autobiographies, correspondence and diaries of artists, poets, writers, musicians, dancers, philosophers and others to be chosen by the group, we will delve into the life stories in dialogue with those of the group's participants. From in-depth studies of several biographies – whose choice criterion will be cultural and artistic diversity –; and putting light on childhood memories, loves, family ties and significant soul ties, gifts, remarkable experiences, we will continue the saga of knowledge and deepening in the complexity and multiculturality of human beings.
The proposal for this journey will be intertwined with proposals for artistic expression. We will work with music, clay, painting, drawing, body expression, writing in prose and poetry, instruments, singing, embroidery and other manual arts, whether or not the participants are aware.
During the year we will invite up to four artists to expand and deepen these dialogues.
The proposal, in addition to sharing life stories and those of the participants, consists of a journey of 'discovery of lives, writing and other expressions of self'.
The meetings take place fortnightly in a hybrid way: if possible, some meetings will be in person with online transmission for those outside São Paulo.
